The captain was friendly from the start. He had a great attitude and is very knowledgeable about what he does. It wasn’t long into the trip that it felt just like we were fishing with one of my buddies from back home.

This was the best fishing experience I’ve ever had! I hoped to catch saltwater fish, and Chad exceeded every expectation. He was an excellent guide who genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. He patiently answered all our questions and shared his extensive knowledge of the fish, the local waters, and Matagorda’s history. We caught redfish and black drum and enjoyed every minute of the trip. We’ll definitely be back to fish with Chad again!

Our group of three had an awesome time fishing with Captain Chad. Even with less-than-perfect conditions, he kept us on fish the entire 5-hour trip thanks to his impressive knowledge of the area and dedication on the water. Beyond the fishing, Captain Chad made the trip even better with great conversation and plenty of funny stories that kept us laughing throughout the day. We ended the trip with a solid stringer and even better memories. All three of us are already looking forward to booking another trip with Captain Chad!

Captain Chad is the G.O.A.T.❗️ My best friend and I had the Best time. I’ve been on a few guided trips in my day, my buddy had never been salt water fishing. He took his time with a couple of old dogs on our afternoon trip. We used TWO redfish tags, 29”&30.5”😎 Quality over quantity but still a lot of fish for him to clean & did a great job of it. Thank you Chad, we will be back. Recommend 110%.

We had a solid day fishing Matagorda Bay with Captain Chad, even with some tough weather conditions. The morning brought strong winds and heavy cloud cover, which made the bite slower than usual. Even so, Captain Chad worked hard all day to keep us on fish. We landed a few keepers and caught several undersized fish that were safely released. While it wasn’t a huge haul, we were happy to bring fish back to the dock considering the conditions. Captain Chad’s knowledge of Matagorda Bay really showed throughout the trip, and he stayed determined to make sure everyone had a great time on the water. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we’ll definitely be booking another trip with Captain Chad on a hopefully calmer day.
