I thoroughly enjoyed our fishing trip and afternoon with Captain Chad. He was very knowledgeable about the Matagorda area and it's history. We were dealing with some windy conditions but Captain Chad still found a way to put us on the bite. It was very comfortable fishing 4 people with his boat. I will most definitely be booking another guided fishing trip with Chad again soon.

Every year, my friends and I make a trip to Matagorda, and this time we decided to book a guide so we could learn the area better for future visits. Chad was a solid choice. He knew the bay, adjusted plans quickly when needed, and kept us on a good mix of fish. Our group even tagged our biggest redfish, which made it feel more personal than just filling the cooler. We stocked the freezer, had plenty of laughs, and it was a day well spent. We’ll be back again, and we’d recommend him to anyone planning an inshore trip.

Capt. Chad was excellent. He got us on fish fast, and we were able to catch a good mix of species. He was patient with our son and made sure he stayed engaged all morning. We loved hearing the local history and little details about Matagorda along the way. We already plan to book another trip and truly can’t recommend him enough.
